Antique Holy Family Saint Esprit Medal Pendant
Antique French Holy Family and Holy Spirit medal pendant with an outstanding depiction of Jesus, Joseph and Mary. This rare and sacred antique medallion depicts the Holy Spirit (Saint Esprit) in glorious detail descending towards The Holy Family. Saint Joseph holds a lily stem symbolic of purity and devotion.
The reverse is quite lovely and features an artfully engraved Bride of Christ dedication to the original guardian which translates to "50th Wedding Anniversary to our daughter Marie / Sister Marie Felicite 1850 - April 22, 1900".
The deep natural patina on this holy medallion accentuates all of the details so well.
The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Holy Trinity, is very often represented by a dove. An ethereal reminder of eternal faith and love.
