Antique French holy medal pendant featuring an ethereal depiction of The Blessed Mother Virgin Mary. She holds a stem of lilies symbolic of purity and devotion. Along the bottom border in sculptural font is Virgo Purissima, a Latin phrase, which translates to “most pure Virgin“ and emphasizes her purity and holiness. The medallion is crafted in solid silver with a lovely gold wash over her halo and the font along the bottom. On the reverse are the initials JD.
