Antique French Saint George Medal
This antique French Saint George silver medal is quite substantial in size and hallmarked for silver purity on the bail. On the front is an ornate depiction of St George slaying the dragon. The border translates to "Saint George patron of knights". On the reverse side is a ship in a tumultuous sea with Christ and two disciples. The Holy Spirit floats in the sky above them. The border is adorned with sculptural font which translates to "safety in the storm".
