A true masterpiece of a medal!  This antique French guardian angel medal features a lovely inscription in French sculptural font which translates to "This is the bread that came down from heaven / St John VI, 50".  On the reverse is a lovely engraving dedicated to the original recipient´s baptism, confirmation and first communion.  The Holy Spirit floats above.  

The medallion is marked on the outer border for silver.
