Gold Virgin Mary pendant medal featuring a wonderfully robust likeness of The Blessed Mother in a graceful pose. She is adorned with a luxurious diamond halo and lavish open-work border. The reverse is artfully engraved with the original guardian´s initials which appear to be "BI" along with the year 1961. The matte patina on this astonishing treasure casts an ethereal glow particularly on the carefully crafted facial area and flowing hair.
